Born 12/29/1927 in Moroni, Utah to Henry B. Terkelson and Florence M. Ames. She was married to John D. (Jack) Koogle in Evanston, Wyoming.
Survived by 13 Grandchildren, 30 Great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, and 3 siblings, Betty Hymas (Las Vegas), Bonnie Bolduc, and Van Terkelson.
Preceeded in death by Husband-Jack, Daughter Diane, Sons Dan, Mart, and John, also, 1 granddaughter and brothers Gene and Don.
She attended both Jordan and South High where she graduated. Verna was a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She was a loyal wife, loving mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. Her love for crafting, quilting, and crocheting brought many precious creations for those she loved. She loved to travel and spend time with her family. Her determination and sense of responsibility drew admiration from many. She was loved by everyone who knew her for her contagious sense of humor.
Services will be held Saturday, August 29, at 11:00 am at Jordan 3rd Ward, 3676 W. 4700 So., Taylorsville. Friends may call Friday, August 28, from 6:00-8:00 and Saturday from 9:45-10:45 at the same location. Online condolences are welcome at www.larkincares.com
