Karen Louise Howard, 56 passed away August 11, 2014 in Salt Lake City Utah. She was born May 12, 1958, in Grass Valley, CA. to Kenneth L. and Elizabeth L. Grist. She married Ed L. Howard, July 9, 1977.
Karen's hobbies are soap making, candle making, aromatherapy, making her own special skin care products. She was a coffee connoisseur. She loved to make people laugh, she loved a good book. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family, especially playing with her 2 grandbabies. She also really enjoyed spending time near water.
She is survived by her husband Ed L. Howard, daughter Sharon M. Frome, siblings Linda Grist D'Ville, Kenneth A. Grist, Sharon L. Criner, Kimberly E. Grist and Bruce E. Grist, and 2 grandchildren.
Services will be Friday August 15, 2014 at 12:00 Noon at Larkin Sunset Lawn Mortuary, 2350 East 1300 South. Friends and Family may visit 1 hr prior to service.
