Micheal Craig Lambourne

1953 ~ 2014

Micheal Craig Lambourne, left this world on July 10th, 2014. Born on January 10th 1953 to Robert Hart and Jean Marie, Mike was the third of five Lambourne children that grew up in the Avenues in Salt Lake City.

His first love was reading often reading 3 or 4 novels a week. Mike graduated from East High in 1971. Joined the Marine Corps in 1972 where he served as a flight line mechanic in Yuma AZ. He served four years and separated with an Honorable discharge at the rank of Sergeant.

One year later, he married Jeri, whom he met while stationed in Yuma.Together they started a wonderful family of their own, with two beautiful girls Sarah and Katie. He was a wonderful father and later a grandfather to two teenage grandkids James and Isabelle. His family was always first.

Mike loved the outdoors and spent many hours with his friends and family camping in the mountains of Utah. Mike was a lifelong hockey fan, and played as a goalie with local leagues, as a young man and as an adult. He was a hockey official with the CHL for three seasons.

Mike was welcomed into the next life by his father and aunt. We know he will be there to welcome his wife, children, grandchildren, mother, all four of his siblings and a whole platoon of nieces and nephews when it is our time to join him.

A celebration of his life will be held at the Larkin Mortuary ‚ Riverton, 3688 W 12600 S, Riverton UT on Saturday July 26th at 15:00 (3pm).
