Born in Inglewood California, the second of three children, to Lester and Bernice Arnold. He graduated from Redondo Beach High School and then served a mission for the LDS Church in the British Mission. He married the love of his life, Mary-Ella Winter in the Los Angeles Temple in 1961. During their 55 years together they raised 9 children and enjoyed 27 grandkids and 8 great-grandchildren. Though he spent his career in the Financial Service industry, his life was all about his family and his faith, serving as needed in the LDS church, and known lovingly, by many, as Bishop Arnold. His children will always be grateful to him for sharing his love of the beach, the mountains and benefits of hard work.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 12:00 noon at the West Jordan 43rd Ward Chapel (6695 S. 2200 W.) with a viewing from 10:45 to 11:45 am. His final resting place will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
