Edna Lehman Barney Stapley Bearnson passed away peacefully in her sleep in the arms of her Heavenly Father, Wednesday August 24, 2016 in West Valley City, UT. She was born September 1, 1931 to Ernest and Lucile Lehman. She will be missed by her family and loved ones. She truly loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. All who came in contact with her loved her. She had a warm heart and loving nature.
Edna is survived by son, Robert A. Barney (Kathy), daughter Cindy Suazo (Greg), stepsons, Steven Stapley (Kathy), Scott Stapley, Kevin Stapley (Kelly), Kerry Stapley, stepdaughter Shauna Hendrickson (Conrad), 30 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Edna was preceded in death by her mother Mary Lucile Lehman, father Ernest Lehman, husbands Robert J. Barney, Leo Stapley, Marion Bearnson, sisters, Jody Jenson, Leah Murphy, son Verl Barney, daughter Karen Porter, and two granddaughters Stacy and Micelle Hendrickson. Services will be held at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Monday August 29, 2016 at 11 a.m., viewing one hour prior to services. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
Edna was a ray of love, light, and hope to all who knew her on this earth and will be missed by all who got to know her.
