Shirley Anderson Roberts, 96, passed away March 12, 2015. She was born October 5, 1918 to Andrew and Caroline Anderson. Her mother died soon after Shirley's birth and she was raised by her father and five brothers. She grew up in Glenwood, Richfield and Salt Lake City.
She married H. Clive Roberts March 17, 1939. They had two daughters Judith (LaVere) Carter and Dorothy (James) Byrne; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was a private person devoted to her family. She enjoyed road trips, traveling around the West, especially to the Grand Canyon and Jackson Hole. Her family will remember her feisty spirit, her sense of humor and her creative cooking. She will live forever in our hearts.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her five brothers and her grandson Christopher P. Carter. The family is grateful beyond words for the care given by the staff at Sunrise Holladay and Solstice Hospice and the love and friendship of Judith Rausch.
