Emma Thomas Jensen, age 97, passed away on December 14, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah of age related causes. She was born on August 31, 1919 to John Jay Thomas and Winniefred Kirkham Thomas in Lehi, Utah and was one of ten children. She married Wallace M. Jensen April 26, 1938 in Farmington, Utah and was married for 62 years. Their only child, Wallace M. "Mic" Jensen Jr. was born September 18, 1943 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Emma attended Granite High School and had a long career as a printer at Bennett's Paint and Glass. She and her husband, Wally were always helping other family members by taking in someone at one time or another to live with them for a good part of their marriage. Emma was preceded in death by her husband Wally, brothers Richard, John J. and Gary Bud along with sisters Lucille, Gail, Maureen and Ruth. She is survived by her sisters Iris, Cleo, her son, Mic (Ann), granddaughters Christine (Tom) and Julie (Angelo), five great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah. Family and friends are invited to visit from 12:00 to 1:30 pm prior to services at the mortuary. Online condolences may be sent to larkincares.com
