Kenneth Robert Hall

1937 ~ 2014

Kenneth Robert Hall passed away in the presence of his family on June 27, 2014 of injuries incident with an automobile accident. He was 76. He was born on November 25, 1937 in Ely Nevada to Scott and Eleanor Hall. He was raised in McGill Nevada and attended White Pine High School. He played catcher for the McGill baseball team, worked at the McGill Club and Kennecott Copper during his youth.

Ken attended Utah State University where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity. He also attended the University of Utah and majored in computer programming. Ken served in the Nevada National Guard. He retired from the Utah State Health Department in 2008.

Ken enjoyed the arts, the outdoors, cooking and restoring his 1868 pioneer home. He was a well-read, inquisitive individual who also enjoyed studying the great comedians. This breadth of knowledge and experience fueled an amazing sense of humor. Ken unfailingly turned the right phrase or dropped the right word to bring laughter to any occasion. His wisdom, humor, counsel, ribbing and love were priceless gifts he shared with all he knew. These gifts will truly be missed.

Ken married his best friend and sweetheart Mary Kathleen Cooper in Salt Lake City on June 24, 1963. Ken is survived by his two children Brittney Alexander (Ron) and Todd Hall (Judy) his wife and his grandson Parker Alexander.
