Glen Raymond McDonald

1967 ~ 2015

Glen was a devoted husband and father who was taken too soon from those he loved so fully. Glen was a proud veteran who continued to serve his community as a probation officer. His identity and character were formed through service on an LDS mission to South Korea, and later, when he returned to Korea with the Army. Following his time overseas he completed the challenging Manchu Mile.

Along with his love of country came a passion for US politics and world history which he freely shared with all. Glen found joy in listening to and creating music. He was a joyful, playful and compassionate soul who selflessly championed the causes of those who were fortunate enough to be around him. Glen, we were enriched by your presence. We miss you. We love you to the moon and back. Papi, you were always my favorite. My life was better for being with you.

Survived by his wife, Claudia Gener McDonald; sons, Jonathon McDonald, Talmage McDonald, Cadell McDonald; parents, Kent and Velda McDonald; siblings, SueAnn (Roberto) Fraga, Jacob (Elizabeth), Collin (Sara), Marybeth.
