Connie Jean Wenerstrom, 63, our loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away unexpectedly on November 25, 2018.
Connie was born on October 12, 1955 to Blaine Petersen and Velma Jolley Southwick in Chandler, AZ. She married the love of her life, Alan Lee Wenerstrom on June 17, 1972 and they had 2 daughters, Amanda and Natalie.
Above all else, Connie's family was her pride and joy. She held a special place in her heart for each one of them. She enjoyed gardening, baking, golfing, and most of all spending time with her family. Connie was her grandkids' #1 fan and enjoyed attending all their events. Connie was beloved by so many because of her loving and gentle demeanor. Connie was known for her compassion for others. She was patient and kind. She was a beautiful, classy woman that touched the lives of so many.
Connie is survived by her husband of 46 years, Alan Wenerstrom; her daughters, Amanda (Chris) Shetler and Natalie (Jason) Bright; 4 grandchildren (Taylor, Ashley, Jace and Seneca); mother, Velma Jolley Southwick; sister, Sandra Madsen; sisters-in-law, Wendy Oaks and Lori Grua; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Blaine Petersen; brother, Boyd J. Petersen; her father-in-law, mother-in-law and two brothers-in-law.
A celebration of Connie's life will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 2:00 pm at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary located at 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.) Sandy, UT 84092. Family and friends may call prior to services from 1:00 to 1:45 pm. Interment to follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
