Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother graduated from her mortal experience on July 7, 2017. She was born in Salt Lake City on November 7, 1934 to Olof Walter Gudmundson and Gladys Taylor Gudmundson. After a whirlwind courtship she married Ronald Victor Burgener on October 28, 1954 in the Salt Lake Temple.
Trained in dance from an early age, she performed in many dance revues with her brother Brent, and semi-professionally in her late teens. She was a varsity cheerleader at Granite High school. A faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of latter-day-saints, she served in many auxiliary positions, but her most prized was her service in both the Mesa, Arizona and Mount Timpanogos temples.
She is survived by her husband, Ronald, two daughters, Shauna Richins (Jon) and Lisa Daniels(Henry), eight grandchildren, and seventeen great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Dale and Brent Gudmundson.
Funeral services will be held at the Lehi 4th Ward Chapel, 851 North 1200 East, Lehi at 11:00 AM on Friday July 14. With a viewing on Thursday, July 13 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM and on Friday prior to the services at 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Interment will be at Larkin Memorial Gardens in Sandy.
