Mark T. Pavich of Salt Lake City died on Sunday, August 20, 2017, in his home in Herriman, Utah. Mark was born on November 20, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Joseph and Barbara Pavich. Mark met Debra (Beel) and they were married in 1981 in Sugar House in Salt Lake City.
Mark is survived by his daughter, Brooke (Pavich) Peciukas, son-in-law AJ Peciukas, son Travis Pavich, grandsons Theodore and Alexander Peciukas, and his ex-wife and friend Debra Pavich. Preceding him in death are his father and mother, Joseph and Barbara Pavich, and his brother Joseph E. Pavich, Jr.
A lifelong supporter of the Utah Jazz, Mark enjoyed watching and attending Jazz games. He also enjoyed watching and playing sports with his friends, especially softball. He loved to travel and try new things. One of the biggest joys in Mark's life was exploring the world with his grandson, Theo, and going on adventures together.
Mark enjoyed listening to music, attending concerts, and spending time with his beloved friends. He was an electrical contractor who prided himself in his work and his lighting design skills.
His funeral service will be held at the Salt Lake City Cemetery (200 N. St. E., SLC, UT) on Saturday, August 26th at 11:00 AM. A viewing will be held on Thursday, August 24 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, SLC, UT).
