Gloria Smith Richards, 89, passed away November 29, 2017, of natural causes incident to age. She was born June 27, 1928 to William Leroy Smith and Ruth Homer Smith in Salt Lake City, Utah. Gloria graduated from East High School in 1945 and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Utah in 1949. She also was a graduate of the Tobé Coburn School of Fashion in New York City. Gloria had a deep love and appreciation for her devoted family and for her wonderful heritage. She is survived by her children: Rinda Baron (Peter), Frank Richards III (Tracy), Lisa Hawkins (Jim), Lance Richards (Lisa) and Shawn Richards (Ramon), as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
At Gloria's request, her family will honor her at a private graveside service.
