Paul Roland Pulley

1952 ~ 2018

Paul Roland Pulley of Salt Lake City, passed quietly out of this earthly realm Wednesday, May 2nd, 2018. He was the son of the late Adolphus Pulley and Thelma May Peterson Pulley. He was predeceased by his sister Caroline Pulley Davis; granddaughter Lily Alldredge; his basset hound Molly and his poodle Taylor.

He was married to his best friend, Denise Ormond. They shared many wonderful years and raised a wonderful blended family including his son, Paul David Pulley (son of Rebecca Latshaw Moffat) his wife Talese, as well as two grandchildren, Alexis and Nathan; daughter Michala Alldredge, son David Ormond Alldredge, daughter Anjeanette Carter her husband Jason, and their two children Louisa and Simon, son Andrew Chet Alldredge (children of David Alldredge). He also leaves behind his three beloved pets; his poodle Rainer, cat Lily Pearl and Turkey Jackie.

He will be missed by his sister Marilyn Bishop, his brother Ron Pulley, his sister Julie James and sister in law Debbie Pulley. He also leaves several nieces and nephews, all of whom adored him, as well as many cousins and many, many friends.

Paul worked in construction and was a Master Craftsman, mostly restoring old homes and businesses, bringing them back to their original beauty. His most notable work can be seen all over the various buildings at 9th and 9th located in Salt Lake City. He was always willing to give anyone a helping hand with any project they were working on.

Paul was born and raised in American Fork, Utah. He graduated from American Fork High School and attended the University of Utah.He served an LDS Mission to San Paulo, Brazil. He was an avid hiker, backpacker, and loved to repel down the mountains. He loved the outdoors, camping, hiking, and enjoying nature. Paul was also the peacemaker in the family. He was very kind, loving and compassionate. He had a way of making everyone feel better about themselves.

A life celebration will be held in his honor onSunday May 6th at 5:30 pm-9:30 pmat the Moffat/ Latshaw Residence located at 11152 South Belmont Hills Place (2995 West) South Jordan, Utah 84095. We will be hosting a memory box for those wanting to donate photos or memories they have of Paul. Also, once the sun sets we will be lighting a camp fire to sit around and share memories and stories. (For those wanting to stay, please bring camp chairs) Also, please come casually dressed.

Services and a short viewing will be held onMonday May 7th from 10:00 am-11:45 amand will be under the direction of Larkin Mortuary located at 260 East South Temple in Salt Lake City. Graveside services will be held at the Salt Lake Cemetery 200 North E Street Salt Lake City, Utah starting aroundnoon.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation in his honor to the Ching Farm Rescue and Sanctuary located in Herriman, Utah.
