Karen Millar, our beloved mother and grandmother, passed away onSeptember 12, 2015, at age 82 from natural causes. We were blessed to have our mother with us in our lives for so long, as a caring and creative inspiration for her family and her many friends through the years. We will miss herdearly.
Karen was born in Detroit, Michigan where she lived most of her life, retiring with her husband to Cottonwood Heights, Utah in 2000. She is survived by her son Robert Millar (Laura), daughter Nancy Glynn, and three grandsons Nathan Glynn, Miles Glynn, and Ian Glynn. She is preceded in passing by her husband William and her youngest son Michael Millar. Karen enjoyed animals and pursued many interests including tennis, bicycling, gardening, cooking, and was a talented and accomplished seamstress.
We ask that any gifts be made to a church or charity of your choice in her honor. A mass will be dedicated to Karen by her family at St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Sandy, Utah in the Spring of 2016.
