Carol gave new meaning to the word \"special\". We will all miss her sweet smile, trusting and easy to please nature and her love of Jesus Christ. She had a great sense of humor, sharp wit and was loved by many who worked with her over the years. Carol had a talent for crocheting and loved to make and share her unique crocheted gifts with her friends. She frequently spoke of how she loved to be \"heathy and strong\" and was always willing to show others how limber she was by stretching her legs high above her head. Carol loved watching movies and the color pink. Carol enjoyed spending time with her friends and always expressed genuine concern for them.
She is preceded in death by her parents and older brothers, Donald Downs, Richard Kenneth and Melvin Neilson, step-mother Irma Luke Neilson and younger brothers Doug and Nick Luke, as well as close friend DeAnne Jensen. Survived by Linda Heslington (David), Marilyn Neilson, Roger Luke (Stephanie) and sister-in-law D\Ann Luke and many friends and staff.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy. Interment will take place at 2:00 p.m. at the Logan City Cemetery, 1000 North 1200 East, Logan, UT.
