Ruth Pearl Barber passed peacefully from this life to the next on April 6, 2014. Ruth was born in Magrath, Alberta Canada on Aug. 1, 1922 to Elma and Earl Harker. The world became a better place that day. Although Ruth was raised in a small town she was an uptown lady all the way! This fiery redhead had 6 brothers and 1 sister. Ruth had a deep love for the Lord and had a gift of great faith. She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Frank Robert Barber whom she was sealed to for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple on Oct. 10, 1944. She is survived by her two daughters, Becky Holdaway and Debbie McAdam, 6 beautiful grandchildren,11 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. There are many doors in the world for God's love to walk through and one of them was Ruth. She will be missed immensely, but her legacy will live on in the lives of her loved ones and in the hearts she so warmly touched!
Services will be held on Saturday April 12, 2014, 2PM, at Larkin Sunset Gardens 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy UT 84092. There will be a viewing from 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm. Interment will follow at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
