Born, March 17, 1929 to William Seth and Ada Stark Cornick, in Salt Lake City, Utah. Graduated from South High School, and attended the University of Utah. Married Robert L. Shaw, May 5, 1950 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple, they enjoyed over 63 years together.
Pat was very talented at needle point, knitting and loved playing games with friends and family. When Mom's health was better she loved vacationing at Colter Bay, Laguna Beach, New England, Canada and any place with beautiful scenery.
Together Bob and Pat worked in raising one daughter and three sons, Diane (Randy) Barker, Paul (Laurie) Shaw, Brent "BR" (Colleen) Shaw, and Jeff (Allyson) Shaw. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother Norman and a sister Norita.
Through their dedication and hard work they have left a strong legacy for hard work and fair play, that will benefit all those that will follow in their footsteps.
Funeral services will be held Friday, August 16th at 11am inthe Little Cottonwood 9th Ward, 1160 East Vine Street. Visitations will be held at the ward Thursday, August 15th, 6 to 8 pm and from 9:45 to 10:45 am prior to services on Friday. Interment will be at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
