Loving mother, grandmother, confident and friend, Geraldine (Geri) Lund Will passed away and joined her late loving husband Robert Wayne Will (Bob) Friday May 9th in Sandy, Utah.
She was born on December 16, 1926 in Soldier Summit, Utah. She was one of ten children born to Ones Emily Taylor Lund and Niels Christian Lund. She married Bob Will on September 5, 1958. She was preceded in passing by her brothers Darrell, Lee, Howard, Carl, and sisters Maida, Stella, Geniel, and daughter Kelly Loraine.
She is survived by her children: Robert Wayne Will II, Jeanne Marie Blank Debrah Jo Rice, Sharon Tyree and 7 grandchildren. Also surviving is her brother Carl and sister Zelda.
Geri earned her nursing degree in 1955 and spent her career in the kind service of others, including 25 years as a research nurse at the University of Utah Medical Center. She was a proud and faithful member of the LDS church.
Geri\s love for her children helped us all survive incredibly trying times no matter what the personal cost to her. Her values and unwavering honesty in the face of adversity gave us all the greatest examples of how to live our lives despite challenging circumstances. Her encouragement and humor will be deeply missed. WE LOVE YOU AND WE MISS YOU!
Friends and family are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Thursday May 15, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 10600 South 1950 East. A viewing will precede the services from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m.
