Our sweet, amazing "Grammy Georgia" passed away peacefully on Friday, June 3, 2016. She was born on August 9, 1950 to George H. and Lenna Curtis Greenhalgh in Salt Lake City, Utah. On November 13, 1970, she married and spent 32 years with the love of her life, Ronald E Welsh, who preceded her in death on June 10, 2002.
"Grammy" loved life and lived hers to the fullest. She was the most kind, caring, thoughtful, generous, selfless person we have ever known; she was a true inspiration. She loved spending time with her family and friends. We are all grateful and feel so blessed that she was our "Grammy Georgia".
She will be greatly missed by her children Rachel (Tony) and Joni (Corey), grandchildren Hailey and Alex who made her life complete, her sister Sue Bateman, her extended family and friends.
We love you dearly and will miss you always. The world was a better place for you having been here.
A celebration service will be held on Friday, June 10, 2016 at 1:00 pm at LeJardin, 1910 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the celebration. Interment Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery. Online condolences welcomed at www.larkincares.com.
