We are celebrating the life of Barbara JoAnn who returned back to her loved ones in heaven on her 73rd birthday, August 12, 2015.
Barbara entered this world into the loving care of her parents Robert and Cleo Stringham on August 12, 1942. She was the big sister to Jan and Suzanne who she loved dearly.
Barbara was blessed and deeply loved by her children Natalie, Johnny, Angie and Nick. She was also blessed with 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and of course 2 amazing dogs.
She was a wonderful example of what a mother and grandma should be. She was the kind of grandma that would spend hours with you in the back yard making mud pies and then after you were all cleaned she would paint your face with dirt and take you on another adventure just in time to give you back to your parents and leave on her merry way. She was always about the moment and making sure you had no regrets.
We will always remember a few of her favorite sayings," to always do it with a loving heart or don't do it at all" and of course her favorite "Just bite the bullet."
She was and will always be the rock of our family. We are thankful to know that she no longer has to struggle with the health issues she faced on earth. Until we see you again Mom, Grandma and Great Grandma, daughter and sister. Angels over you!!!
We will have a "Celebration of Life" for Barbara on Sunday August 23 from 1- 4pm at 1563 E Rolling Green Drive, Draper Utah 84020.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to either the Utah Food bank or the Primary Children's Hospital in Barbara's Name.
