Lynn Marvin McManigal

1947 ~ 2016

Lynn passed away on September 8, 2016, in South Jordan City, UT. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on January 10, 1947 to Wanda Lanael Radmall and Gerald McManigal. Lynn had 4 siblings, (Calvin Jerry McManigal, Marline Margaret Barton, Lyle Melvin McManigal and Robin Rae Cowell). He served in the United States Navy.

Lynn worked 30+ years in the Utilities business with Rocky Mountain Power, as an estimator. He was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He had a strong testimony and brought many to the church, his most recent calling was as a high priest. He loved this church, and drew comfort in knowing his Savior.

Lynn was adventurous, he enjoyed traveling, but his main love was fishing, and if dad wasn't home, he was at the Lake, usually with his best friend Clyde Latta. Lynn was a part of the Latta family, and they have been such a blessing to his life and that of his family.

Lynn loved football, he was an avid BYU Cougars fan, and held on to the very end to get the chance to see his Cougars play their first BYU football game of the season.

Lynn was married for a brief time to Rebecca Kay Calabrese and they had 2 children, Bridget Laneal Skaug, and Ryan Lynn McManigal. He has 3 grandchildren, Dustin George, Jacob George and Aubriana George. He has many nephews and nieces. He was loved dearly and will be missed.

Lynn is preceded in death by his Father, Gerald McManigal, His twin brother, Lyle McManigal, and his mother Wanda McManigal.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday September 14th, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens; 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 s.) Sandy, UT. A viewing will be held at the Larkin Sunset Gardens on the 14th from 12 ‚ 1:30. Interment will be held at the Larkin Sunset Garden
