Leaine Alama Fifita

1950 ~ 2016

Kearns, Utah. Our sweet, loving and most humble father, husband, brother, uncle, and grandfather has returned home to our Father in Heaven Monday morning, November 21, 2016 at the age 66, surrounded by his loved ones at home.

Leaine Alama Fifita also known as "Papa" to close family and friends. Papa was born November 2, 1950 in Pangai Ha'api, Tonga. He was the son of Hilamani Ofa Kimuli Fifita and Misini Lolohea Huavi. Papa was married to Sisilia Tupou Fifita August 11, 1973 and is sealed in the Temple for all time and eternity. Papa was known for his smile, big heart, and his love for his grandkids. He was a humble, hard-working person. His teaching was done through his action.

He is survived by his children: Haine Aarron (Mele) Fifita, Hiliamani (Rosemary) Fifita, Paula (Mele) Fifita, Tevita Mafi (Chevon) Fifita, and Lesieli (Lopeti) Tau'vaki; 15 grandkids; and is the oldest of 12 siblings.

Papa's action and teaching will never be forgotten by those that spent time with him throughout his life.

A visitation will be held Friday, November 25, 2016 at Larkin Mortuary in Riverton, 3688 West 12600 South, from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. A visitation for family will be held Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Kearns 13th Ward, 4660 West 5015 South, with full funeral services to follow at the same location from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Interment at the Redwood Memorial Estates.
