Benet (Veneranda) Selfaison passed away on March 4, 2020 in Salt Lake City, UT. She was born on November 14, 1947 in Mindoro, Philippines to Josefina Pangilinan and Florencio Flores.
She married Manny Selfaison in the Philippines. Benet attended schools in the Philippines and majored in Accounting. She married Manny Selfaison on April 1, 1970. Benet and Manny moved to Hawaii to pursue further studies. She worked in the BYU-Hawaii Library as a Supervisor in Technical Services. After a move to Chicago, where she was as an administrative secretary for the American Health Association (AHA), they moved to Utah and called it home. Benet worked for Verizon as a Medical Proposal Specialist.
Benet is survived by her husband, Manny, sister, Jocelyn Rowley and brothers, Dino, Ramon and Jun Flores.
Due to current health regulations graveside services will be held on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at 11:00 am at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah. A small viewing will be held from 9:00 ‚ 10:30 am.
