Clarence L. Harmon

1932 ~ 2018

Our loving father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away on January 26, 2018 surrounded by his loved ones. He was a man of few words, expressing his love through his actions, often supporting those who are less fortunate. Clarence faced each day of his life with dignity and courage. He taught those around him the value of every person through his exemplary life. He was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the United States Army from September 1949 to October 1952. He was a member of the Crimson Club at the University of Utah for several years and enjoyed every game! Go Utes! He was an active member of the LDS church.

Clarence was born on February 12, 1932 to Ilene Mitchell and Edgar Harmon. His stepfather was Lewis R. Mitchell. He married Kathleen Dent on June 16, 1953. He is survived by his children, Ilene (George) Nelson, Kris Sorenson, Larry (Kathy) Harmon, and Judy (Mark) Linton, 15 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way, a brother Ray Harmon, sisters Mary Johnson and Julie Jones.

Preceded in death by his wife, Kathleen Dent Harmon and his parents.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am on Monday, February 5, 2018 at Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy, Utah.
