Frank Stephen Stringham

1939 ~ 2016

Frank Stephen Stringham, age 76, returned to live with his Heavenly Father and eternal companion Beverley on May 24, 2016. He was born December 18, 1939 in Salt Lake City, UT. Married Beverley Margaret Wood Dec. 20, 1963 in the Salt Lake Temple. Steve was an electrical engineer having graduated from the University of Utah. He worked for the Los Angeles Dept. of Water and Power before moving his family back to Utah in order to be project manager for the construction of the ZCMI Center for Wasatch Electric. Steve went on to be a senior engineer for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints designing and approving the electrical systems of numerous temples around the world. He was a faithful member of the LDS church, serving in many different callings. He was active in his community, helping to set up the Gale Center for History and Culture and helping compile "Of Dugouts and Spires", a book documenting the history of the city of South Jordan. Steve also owned Stringham Photography and captured precious moments in the lives of others. He had a quiet strength, a dry sense of humor, and loved being with his family. He will be missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverley Margaret, his daughter, Susan Elizabeth; his parents, Frank B and Ada Ruth Stringham.

He is survived by his children; daughter, Leslie Stringham, South Jordan; son, Matthew Stringham (Camille), Tooele; son, John Stringham, Kyle, TX; grandchildren, Michael, Katie, Elder Harrison Stringham, Madison, Emma-Rose, Samuel and Hayden; sister, Sylvia Brown, West Jordan and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 11:00 AM at the South Jordan Utah Stake Center, 2450 West 10400 South. Friends may visit Monday, May 30 from 6-8 PM at Larkin Mortuary Riverton, 3688 West 12600 South and Tuesday from 9:30-10:30 AM at the Stake Center prior to the service. Interment will be held at South Jordan City Cemetery.
