Theron Turpin Farnsworth passed away on October 10, 2016 in Sandy, Utah. He was born April 21, 1926 in Sandy, Utah to George Marsh Farnsworth and Effie Ellen Turpin. He married Donna Carrol in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.
Theron graduated from Jordan High, served two years in the US Navy, worked at Kennecott Refinery as a Machinist, served a LDS Stake Mission and Denver Temple Mission, was a volunteer fireman and loved to camp.

Dad is survived by his five daughters; Carol McWherter, Marsha (Brian) Smith, Nancy (Brad) Ball, Sharon (Kerry) Smith, Connie Harris, 18 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his wife, parents, siblings, and son-in-law Eugene McWherter.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 17, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), with a viewing from 9:00-10:30 a.m. Interment will be in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery.
