Jack Brindley

1922 ~ 2017

Jack Brindley passed away on August 1, 2017 in St. George, UT at the age of 94. He was born on December 29, 1922 in Mansfield, MO to Howard Nelo Brindley and Lavinia Rosvier. Jack married Thelma Arnoldus in Salt Lake City, UT.

Jack enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and teaching children, especially his own, to water ski. He was a World War II veteran. He made the best dutch oven pepper chicken and cook it for family reunions and church gatherings. He had a great sense of humor.

He is survived by his children, Lee (Mary Anne), Darla Jones, Bette Beagles, Susie Brindley and Chad Brindley, 15 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren. Preceded in death by his wife Thelma (Sally), parents, son Kent Brindley, brothers; Leon, Gerald and Merrill and grandchildren; Mindee Winrow, Andrea Hardwick and Erica Carter.

A viewing will be held Monday, August 7, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Rd. Sandy, UT. Interment at Larkin Sunset Gardens.
