Our beautiful sweet granny great, mom and wife, Laneta Colleen Jarrad Perry returned to her heavenly home, freed from all her earthly pains on March 4, 2016. She was a cherished daughter born to Edgar Saul and Laneta Susan Jarrad on June 30, 1936. Mom married the love of her life Richard J. Perry on April 28, 1953. They shared countless adventures and created precious memories in their short 63 years together. They were blessed with 4 children; Richard J. Jr. (Julie), David Edgar, Laneta Jilleen (David) Lukes and Tadijana Nichole (Troy) Aubrey. Besides being our best friend, mentor and therapist mom was a teacher and master artist. She taught oil painting and later taught porcelain doll making. She loved her service at the Sandy Senior Center and talked often of the good friends she had made there.
Mom is survived by her husband, Richard, her children, 10 grandchildren that she loved dearly and 24 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South) in Sandy. Viewings will be on Thursday, March 10, 2016 from 6:00 ‚ 8:00 p.m. and Friday 1 hour prior to services at the mortuary.
