Scott Curtis Nelson

1961 ~ 2016

Scott Curtis Nelson (55) passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family from brain cancer.

Scott was born June 6, 1961 to Ray B and Sharon Halverson Nelson in Ogden, Utah. He graduated from Ogden High School in 1979.

He served an L.D.S mission in the California, San Jose Mission.

He continued his schooling at Weber State University, then onto the Medical College of Wisconsin and The University of Iowa completing a residency in Anesthesiology. Scott was most recently the Chief of Anesthesia at Mountain View Hospital in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

His real love was Zella Noble and his five amazing children:

Ryan (Caitlin), Jessica, Justin (Tessa), Jordan and Amber.

Scott's parents, have four other children: Karen, Susan Vincent (deceased) (Jeffrey), Doug (Beth), and Mark.

Scott had many hobbies. He absolutely loved being a devoted husband and father. He spent the majority of his time with his family traveling, fly fishing, scuba diving, hiking, skiing and perfecting his photography skills. Scott loved the outdoors and nature and marveled at all of it!
