Born April 25, 1929 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Passed away peacefully in her home February 17, 2015 at the age of 85 surround by her loving family.
Born to Fredric William West and Maria Smit. She grew up in Emigration Canyon, later moved to Ogden Utah graduating from Ogden High School. During her career years she worked for the State of Utah Department of Finance as a Payroll specialist where she received many commendations for her dedication to excellence. She loved Gardening, Yard sales, Puzzles, Shopping and her Family.
She had a generous, loving heart, infectious laugh and touched many lives with her charisma, charm and generosity.
Survived by Connie Richmond, Barbara Priestley (Don), Michael Richmond (Julieanne). Eleven Grandchildren, nineteen Great Grandchildren and one Great Great Grandchild. Brother David (Sylvia) West, Sister Shirley Jensen, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Married to Edward A Richmond later divorced, married Robert E Hollingsworth, later divorced, (deceased).
Preceded in death by her Father (Daddy), Mother (Nana), Son Brent Alan Richmond, Brother Fredric West, and Sister Gaye Klassen.
With a huge hole in her heart her last wish was to be buried by her son Brent whom she deeply loved and has missed tremendously.
Graveside Service will be held Tuesday, February 24th, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Murray City Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the staff of the ICU and Comfort Care units at IHC Hospital in Murray, Intermountain Homecare and Hospice and everyone who assisted and cared for Mom. Thank you so very much for your excellent support and the dedicated services provided by the various health care professionals.
