Steve passed away peacefully with his family around him. Son of FilomenApodaca and Emilia Silva. He was a veteran of World War II where he was awarded a Bronze Medal. Steve married Ilene Vigil on September 6, 1950.
Steve loved reading the Bible and loved being with his family. He liked going camping, fishing and gardening.
Steve is survived by his daughters; Rosalie Kenney and Carol Contrerus, son; Frank Duran, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by both parents, his wife Ilene Apodaca, and his grandsons Tony and Lance Martinez.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, December 28, 2013 at Larkin Sunset Lawn, 2350
East 1300 South Salt Lake Cityat 11:00 AM. The viewing will be from 10-10:50 prior to the service. Interment will follow the services.
