Jerry passed away June 18, 2014, with his loving wife of 61 years at his side as always. Born to Algie and Ila Knight on September 19, 1933 in Grand Junction, CO.
He worked for Wonder Bread, retiring after 40 years. He especially loved his time fishing. For many years his health was failing. He defied the odds time and time again, giving him and us many more years together enjoying family and friends. He was a fighter to the end.
Survived by his wife Sally, son, Russel (Susanne) Knight, daughter, Diana (Paul) Butcher, grandsons, Joshua, Chris, Ryan, Michael (Kristy), TJ; 4 great-grandchildren; twin sister, Geraldine.
Preceded in death by son, Kevin, parents, 1 brother, and 4 sisters.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 21st, at 2:00 p.m. in the Larkin Sunset Gardens Chapel, 1950 East Dimple Dell Rd (10600 So.), Sandy. A viewing will be held 1 hour prior to service.
