Our loving husband, father and grandfather, passed away Oct 5, 2015 peacefully at home two days before his 93rdbirthday party. He was born at home in SLC to Levi Albert Reed and Rhoda Lambert Wilding. He married Janet Duffin October 19, 1941 in Elko Nevada later sealed in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He is now united with his sweetheart.He was honorably discharged from the Army after WWII and we honor our father for his sacrifice to our country and family. He was a gentle man with a quick sense of humor and he will be missed.
He is survived by children: James (Diana), Ronald (Maureen), Gregory (Janet) and Thomas (Tamara), 18 grandchildren, 45 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be held at2:00pmon Saturday Oct. 10, 2015 at Larkin Sunset Gardens, 1950 E. Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.) in Sandy, Utah. A visitation will be heldon Fridayevening from6-8:00pmandon Saturday from 12:30-1:30pm prior to the services.
