Carl Ben Wille

1931 ~ 2017

On July 27, 2017 an honorable man, Carl Ben Wille, decided his mission was done. He passed away peacefully in the Veterans Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. Carl was born on March 11, 1931 in Salt Lake City to Prena Baldini and Benjamin Wille. Carl's mother along with his Grandparents immigrated to the United States from Italy in early 1900.

Carl served in the Korean War.

Carl was the textbook "good guy" which probably explains his life-long occupation as a salesman. Throughout his life, Carl sold many things including beer and restaurant provisions and in his later years, automobiles. Because of his affable nature, most of his customers returned again and again. To the very end, including his final months at the Salt Lake Veterans Home, nearly everyone who knew Carl, including his caregivers, genuinely liked him.

Carl is survived by his son Lane Wille (Kristine), daughter Tricia Bissett and five grandchildren Madison, Davison, Jentre, Delaney and Emerson. Carl is preceded in death by his parents, his late wives Jackie Barnes and Anita Walker and his last love Joan Ostovich.

A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, August 2nd at 10:00 a.m. at Larkin Sunset Gardens located at 1950 East Dimple Dell Road (10600 South), Sandy, Utah. After the Service, family and friends are invited to Mediterrian Deli 3960 South State Street for a Luncheon in Carl's honor.

In lieu of flowers, pass it forward to the next Veteran.
