RaNae Marra Kammerath Bryner

1948 ~ 2013

Our beloved mother, RaNae Marra Kammerath Bryner, 65, passed away on July 27, 2013 surrounded by her children. She was born June 12, 1948 to Joseph and Alice Critchlow Marra, in Price, Utah. She left home the day of her high school graduation and spent the rest of her life living and working in the Salt Lake Valley.

RaNae was her daddy's girl and learned to hunt, fish and enjoy nature at his side. She also learned his incredible work ethic and could rarely be found sitting down. She always had a long list of things she wanted to do each day. RaNae loved to sing, dance, garden, crochet, travel, paint, write poetry, visit historic homes, and help people find their dream home through her work as a Realtor for almost 40 years. She loved to make strangers into friends everywhere she went. She was strong, determined and stubborn.

RaNae was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She was diligent in her visiting teaching and truly loved those she served. Her home was always open to loved ones, neighbors and friends. It wasn't unusual for people to spend weeks or months as her house guest.

RaNae's greatest joy in life came from being a mother and grandmother. She never missed a school program, basketball game or important life event. She gathered her family together for birthdays, holidays, orjust because she loved them and would rather spend time with them than anyone else.

RaNae is survived by her children, Christina Hafoka (Matt), Alicia Scott (Paul), and Bryce Kammerath (Heather), her beloved grandchildren, Jordan, CJ, Preston, Paige, Rachel, Ruth and Zachary, and her fur baby, Mia. She also leaves behind treasured extended family and friends. Preceded in death by her parents.
