Born January 3, 1948 to William (Bill) and Maxine Burch in Artesia, California. Growing up in California, Susan (Sue) loved the beach and would want to vacation there anytime she could from the beaches of California, Hawaii, Mexico, Puerto Rico and St Maarten. Sue could sit on the beach for hours.

Sue and Garve moved to Salt Lake City where she worked for the Jordan School District for the last 18 years as a Resource Teacher and Secretary at Sprucewood and Bell View Elementary respectively.
