Our loving mother, Leta Dalton Roark, born July 11th, 1926, passed away November 23rd, 2016, due to causes incident to age. She will be missed by many, but most of all by her six girls, who she loved unselfishly and supported unconditionally. She was a kind and compassionate person who was quick to offer a loving word or compliment. Although she had been in declining health for many years, she maintained a pleasant outlook and was always grateful and sweet to those around her.
Leta is survived by her six daughters: Tonia Colton, Tamina Ridd (Randall), Robyn Roark, Roxie Roark, Marta Smith and Mindi Roark. She is also survived by her 24 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren, and brother, Burke Dalton. Leta is preceded in death by her husband, Martin; parents, Floyd and Waivra Blackburn Dalton; siblings, Royce Dalton and Belva Walton,and grandson Colt Colton.
We will miss you mom, but your memory will live in our hearts. We are glad you could move on.
Be strong and of good courage...be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed...for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest...
Funeral services will be held onMonday, November 28th, 11:00 a.m., at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary,1950 Dimple Dell Road (10600 S.) in Sandy. The family will receive friends from 10-10:45am Monday prior to the service.
