Leslie Jean Tippetts passed away peacefully on September 9, 2013 in American Fork, Utah. Leslie was born to Bonnie Jean Conklin and John Paul Tippetts on January 6, 1962 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Leslie was disabled shortly after birth. She lived with her parents, her grandparents and later in American Fork where she lived until her death. Leslie is a great granddaughter of the late Prophet, President Joseph F. Smith.
Leslie is survived by her mother, Bonnie Jean C. Tippetts, father John Paul Tippetts, brothers; Tyler Grant Tippetts, Eric Devin Tippetts, and Nathan Alan Tippetts, her sister Gisela Tippetts, her three nieces; Alexis, Jessica, Katelyn Tippetts, one nephew Timothy Tippetts, and three grand nephews; Andrew, Daniel and Brandon Tippetts. Also survived by her aunt, Renee (Tom) Hoagland and her uncle Robert (Patti) Conklin.
Leslie was preceded in death by her grandparents; Dr. Clifford E and Asenath Smith Conklin, Ray and Beulah Thoreson, and her brother David Troy Tippetts.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at 11am at the Salt Lake City Cemetery located at 200 N Street, SLC, UT.
