Gregory Hanks Clawson

1984 ~ 2016

Gregory Hanks Clawson left this life too soon at only 32 years of age, returning home to his Heavenly Father. Greg was born on June 22, 1984 in Salt Lake City and passed away on July 16, 2016.

Greg blessed us and will be remembered always as one truly innocent of heart and who possessed a genuine and strong sense of love. He cared deeply for others and was happiest when serving his family, friends, nieces and nephews. People were of most importance to him and he gave freely what he had to others. In this he found peace. He was reliable and would do anything he could for others.

Greg had a spectacular sense of humor. He had a quick wit that would catch you off guard and get you laughing till you couldn't stop. We loved being with him.

In life, Greg worked in warehousing. He was an extremely hard and dedicated worker and always sought excellence.

He loved movies, cars, his shoe collection, but especially activities with his brothers and dad. He loved all of his siblings and took strength and happiness in being with them. Most of all, Greg loved his parents. They were his angels here on earth; particularly his mother who never waivered in service to him. Their endless love and generosity sustained him through life. They were the world to him.

We will all miss Greg's smile, laughter and kindness and our moments together. We have faith in an eternal plan and know he will be blessed with peace until we see him again. He is survived by his father and mother, Spencer and Ann Clawson; siblings Mindy (Erik) Gertler, Brooke Talbot, Spencer (Nicole) Clawson, Scott (Sarah) Clawson, 9 nieces and 6 nephews, along with his Grandma Hanks, aunts, uncles and cousins, all who love him very much.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, July 20, 2016 from 6-8 pm and the funeral will be on Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 11:00 am. Guests can also visit before the funeral beginning at 9:30 am.
