On Dec. 2, 2013 a beautiful lady passed away. Jean was born on September 27, 1936 in Preston, Idaho to Ralph and Gladys Helmandollar. Shemarried Peter William Wilson who was the love of her life.
Jean was a happy, intelligent and fun person. She excelled in academics and was a Drum Majorette at American Fork High School and later at the University of Utah. She was a member of a Utah State Champion debate team.
She was a very generous and caring lady who supported and encouraged her family to receive a good education. Her marriage to Peter was very happy. They enjoyed each other's company at home and traveled throughout a large part of the world.
She is survived byher husband Peter Wilson. Three children: Khristine Campos, Bradley and Gregory Orton, two stepsons Scott and Brett Wilson. One brother Paul Helmandollar, numerous grandchildren, as well as neices and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and first husband Cloyd Orton.
There will be a gathering at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple Street in Salt Lake City, Utah on December 11, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. A graveside service will follow at the family plot in the Salt Lake City Cemetery (200 \"N\" Street) at 12:00 p.m.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to the Huntsman Cancer Institute at the University of Utah
