Beverly Ann Kindig Thorkildsen

1946 ~ 2018

Beverly Ann Kindig Thorkildsen passed away at home March 20, 2018 after a long battle with lung disease.Beverly was born June 3, 1946 in Salt Lake City, Utah to parents Cloyd and Ruth Kindig. She was the oldest of 7 children.

Beverly married Earl Turpin (later divorced) they had 3 daughters. She raised the girls on their small farm in West Valley city. She had a love and passion for her animals and her beautiful yard in Chesterfield. And had all three girls riding their horses before they could walk. Bev would pack up the girls and take them camping on a whim or ghost towning. We got to see so much of Utah. She was quite the rock hound.

Beverly supported her girls in everything they did. She is survived by daughters Tami Turpin and Cindi Duggan, grandchildren Joshua Bown, Brooklyn Bown, Jessica (Beau) Brown, McKenzie Garner and Zack Turpin, great granddaughters Brookelle Silcox and Blakely Brown. Sister\s Gin LeBlanc and Barbara Kindig, brothers Rick (Debbie) Kindig and Mark Kindig, special friend Debbie and dozens of nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her daughter Brenda Turpin, her parents, sister Marilyn and brother Steve.

A private service will be held at the Murray City Cemetery.
