Sharon Griggs Haycock passed away peacefully on Monday, June 12, 2017. Sharon was the daughter of Fredrick Price Griggs and Jessie Meikle Griggs and was born in St. Anthony, Idaho on July 26, 1935.
She loved to travel and especially loved camping with her family. She visited Yellowstone and Bear Lake every year. She also loved spending time on the "Baja." When she couldn't get away for longer trips, she loved to go for a daily drive around the Wasatch Front.
She was an avid supporter of her grandchildren and all of their endeavors. She was their Number One fan. She loved animals, and currently enjoyed spending time with her dog "Chip." Sharon was a "no nonsense" person, as evidenced by the toes of her socks.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband Cal, her children Rhonda, Randy (Diann), and Brad (Cami). Her grandchildren Rylisha (Will), Raygen, Tanner, Austin, Colton (Whitney), and Dale (Marissa). Her sister Pauline Hillman Webster. She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Betty.
A graveside service will be held Friday, June 16, at the Larkin Sunset Gardens Cemetery, 1950 East 10600 South, Sandy, Utah, at 1:00 PM. A viewing will be held from 10:00-12:45 prior at Larkin Sunset Gardens Mortuary, located at the entrance of the cemetery.
