Asinate Hikifo'ou Nau

John 16:22- "So also you have sorrow now, but I will see you again, and your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you."

Our Beloved sister Asinate Hikifo'ou Nau who had the most adventurous journey on this earth was called back to the peaceful and comforting arms of our loving, precious and relational Creator on September 8, 2018. Asinate, 34, was the youngest of three; Luseane Nau, 37, and Mina Nau, 35. Asinate is the daughter of Tueipi Heamasi Nau, and Linda Lui and was also raised by her father's older brother Sione Ikaila Nau and wife Fane Nau whom she called her second parents. She called their children her own brothers and sisters, whom loved her and also saw her as their own sister; Heamasi Nau, 38 (deceased), Jason Richard Nau, 37, Lavinia Nau, 36, Tukia Nau, 35, Nelson Nau, 30, Fa Nau, 29, Taupea Nau, 25, Tule Nau, 23. Asinate considered all of her Nai and Nau brothers and sisters her siblings and never forgot whom she was raised with.

Asinate was born on January 12, 1984 in Los Angeles, California. She is survived by her true love, her precious pride and joy and greatest accomplishment, her daughter "Green Eyez" Edna Fakaloloma Anthony, 10.

Asinate was a sister, niece and aunty that was free spirited and independent. She had the biggest heart and loved deeply and equally. She fully expressed her support, unconditional love and encouragement for family and friends through her actions. Her actions always spoke louder than her words. She respected and honored her father's siblings in her own way and although ventured out on her own never forgot her family. She remembers teachings from her late grandmother Liku Nau who taught her how to love and how to live, keeping God close to her heart. Asinate had a very strong faith and always thanked God for her daily blessings. She has reunited with her father, brother and grandmother whom she loved with all of her heart. Asinate will be deeply missed by all who have come across her.
