George Lawrence Storer

1955 ~ 2014

George Lawrence Storer was born April 8th of 1955 in the small town of Colville, Washington. He joined the military in 1973 and served in his country until 1985. After his military service he continued to work for the federal government in the Forest Service and then with the Bureau of Land Management.

He enjoyed riding with The Patriot Guard honoring his fellow service men and women. He loved his Country, his Family, the Seattle Seahawks and Washington Huskies and playing jokes on his friends, family and neighbors. He enjoyed playing baseball, basketball, and football.He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

George passed away May 9th, 2014 at his home in Riverton, Utah.

He is survived by his wife Patricia Storer, their 3 daughters and their spouses, Rochelle (Brian) Bartschi, Sabrina (Danny) Morrey and Melissa Parker; his mother Genevieve Storer, 4 sisters and their spouses, Joyce (Roy) VanDeventer, Roberta Sphuler, Sharon Storer and Elaine (Mike) Ferris; 7 grandsons Robert, Jordan, Alex, Jacob, Theodore, Cameron and Jayden; 2 granddaughters Dahkota and Shyanne, and many nieces and nephews who he loved very much. He has been reunited with his father Robert Storer, son-in-law Bejamin Parker and grandparents in Heaven.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 20th, 2014 at 11:00 AM at the Foothills Ward, 5246 West Gossamer Way (13400 South), Riverton, UT. Viewings will be held on Monday, May 19th, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Larkin Mortuary ‚ Riverton, 12600 South 3688 West and also from 9:30-10:45 AM prior to services at the Ward.
