With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother on February 23, 2017. She was reunited with her sweetheart Eddie Sr on their 58th wedding Anniversary. Frances (Frankie) Medina Martinez, born February 5, 1942 in Durango, Colorado to parents Presentacion and Clotilda Medina. She had 4 children, 14 grandkids and 16 great-grandkids. She is survived by her children; Charlene and (Kraig) Meyers, Marie and (Ellis) Slack, Margaret and (Mike) Pietramala; 3 Sisters: Genevieve Quintana, Sally Martinez, and Vangie Mace; 1 brother Johnny Medina. Many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her spouse Eddie Sr and Son Eddie Jr; sister\s: Angie Maestas, Bernice Albo; brothers: Don Medina and Filbert Medina.
A special thanks to the staff at Legacy House and Inspiration Hospice for taking good care of her and all the great friends she made there.
Funeral Services will be held at Larkin Sunset Lawn located 2350 East 1300 South in Salt Lake, Friday March 3rd beginning at 11 AM with a visitation prior beginning at 10 AM. A visitation and rosary prayer service will be held Thursday March 2nd beginning at 6 PM at the same location.
