Joy Jeanette Christensen 37, Died in her home in Grantsville, UT. April 23, 2015. Born July 12, 1977 in Longmont, CO. Daughter to Gerald Vernon Hoel and Debora Kay Brown. Joy spent her childhood in Colorado where she graduated from Skyline High School and went on to graduate from Front Range Community College with a bachelor's degree in nursing. Joy pursued a carrier in oncology at Longmont united Hospital in Longmont, CO. that later lead her to elderly care and hospice where she found her true calling in life and was able to touch many souls.She really enjoyed talking and spending time with the Elderly, especially the WWII Veterans. At the age of 25,she relocated to Provo, Utah where she met and married Larry Scott Christensen and the two had their son Bryant Parker Christensen on March 4, 2012. That is when she discovered her second calling in life as a wonderful caring mother. Joy was such a blessing in so many people's lives. She will go on forever in our hearts and our memories. Joy is Preceded in death by her mother Deborah Kay Brown. A Viewing on Friday May 1st beginning at 6:00 P.M. and ending at 8:00 P.M. and another Viewng Saturday May 2nd beginning at 10:00 till 12:00 P.M. and funeral services will follow. Interment will be at the Larkin Sunset Lawn located at 1300 South 2350 East in Salt Lake City
