Jerry passed away July 31 surrounded by his loving family. Born September 3, 1932 to Kenneth Eugene Lake and Otillie McAllister in Salt Lake City, the oldest of 3 sons. Graduating from South High and the UofU where he met the love of his life, Marion Caroline Park. Sealed in the Salt Lake Temple September 30, 1953. Faithfully serving in numerous callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints throughout his fulfilling life. An absolute devoted and loving husband, father and grandfather. His family providing him the most satisfaction, reward, and wonderful legacy. Jerry was known as a kind, sweet man who treated everyone with courtesy, respect, and compassion. Happiness and a genuine concern for the well-being of others are just a couple of his outstanding characteristics. Jerry will always be known as a man of character and integrity. A true friend. A good man. Co-founder of IC Group in 1982. He served his clients with unwavering honesty, dedication, and commitment throughout his career. Preceded in death by his parents and brother in law James L Barker Jr. Survived by his wife Marion, sons Robert (Diane), Richard (Julie), Alan (Stephanie), Daniel (Christine), brothers, Bruce (Patricia), Joseph (Marta), brother in law Samuel Park (Ann), sister in law Glenna Barker, 17 Grandchildren, and 31 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Wednesday August 5, 2015, 11 AM at the Monument Park 15th ward chapel, 1300 South Wasatch Dr. SLC. Viewing will be Tuesday evening 6-8PM at Larkin Sunset Lawn 2350 E. 1300 S. SLC and Wednesday morning 9:30-10:30 at the church prior to services. Interment at Larkin Sunset Lawn.
