Sean Tren Hirschi

1979 ~ 2014

Our adored son, brother, uncle and friend Sean Tren Hirschi died Aug. 21, 2014 after a long and courageous battle in life.

He was born Oct 29, 1979 in Salt Lake City, but lived in and claimed his hometown as Vernal, Utah where he spent many years growing up. He is survived by his father Stephen Hirschi (Lou Anne), mother Carol Call Jacobsen, grandfather Tren, brothers Geoff (Briana) and Christopher (Julie), sister Maren and many nephews and nieces who loved him and will miss him dearly.

His tenacity drove him to excel at many things, including his well-earned U of U degree in Geographic Information Science, fire dancing and cycling. He accomplished whatever he put his heart and mind into and was always working towards improving. His many talents and other passions include nature, tree-hugging, poetry, music, hiking, camping, cooking, brewing, river running, and most importantly spending time with family and friends.

Most of all, Sean had a tender, incredibly big heart and continually put others before himself. He was upbeat and positive when talking to the many people he loved. His magic touch with children caused them to flock to him. He was adventurous, hardworking, caring, kind, and encouraged others to be a "rockstar."

A viewing and informal memorial will be held Wed. Aug. 27, 2014 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Larkin Mortuary, 260 E. South Temple, Salt Lake City, UT.

Family and friends may also visit Thursday, Aug. 28, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:30 am at the church located at 1250 West 500 South, Vernal, UT.
