Camille Nielson Stepan

1975 ~ 2014

North Salt Lake City ‚ Camille went home to her Savior on September 30, 2014. She was born on January 2, 1975 to Corrin and Janice Nielson, and loved growing up with ten brothers and sisters. She brought into the family a bright spirit, infectious laughter, and unbounded enthusiasm. She had a natural talent for the piano and played beautifully. She served in the Italy Catania mission and graduated from the University of Utah. Camille and Christopher fell in love and married in the Salt Lake Temple on June 29, 2000, and grew in their devotion to one another through the years. They welcomed two sons and a daughter, Grant, Marcus and Lexie, into this circle of love, and Camille cherished Christopher and her children with all her heart. She served faithfully in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and was an inspired teacher. She was outgoing and loved people and was blessed with a gift to see the good in others.

Camille was preceded in death by her sister Carrie and is survived by her wonderful husband and children; her parents; her ten siblings: Christine (Cris) Hogan, Marianne Winget, Natalie (Duane) Adams, Kathryn (Matthew) Horlacher, Bryant (Kim) Nielson, Garrett Nielson, Stuart (Rachael) Nielson, Lana (Steve) Royle, Cheryl (Doug) Greer, and Mark (Camilla) Nielson; her parents-in-law, F. Keith and Linda Stepan; and brother-in-law, Frank (Joylynn) Stepan.

A funeral service will be held Monday, October 6, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the Springhill Ward, 351 South Lofty Lane, North Salt Lake, Utah, with a viewing from 6:00-8:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 5, 2014 at the Springhill Ward. A viewing will also be held before the services from 9:45-10:45 a.m. Interment in Lakeview Cemetery.
